Prayer Ministry in the NTAG exists to help the local church develop a culture of prayer and to equip believers to pray more effectively. We’re committed to facilitating an environment saturated in unceasing, fervent prayer that ushers in revival, spiritual awakening, and the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit across our district. And we cover our ministers with a prayer line for any needs. Come join us!
A note from Dr. Gaylan Claunch, Superintendent:
One of the three things the Holy Spirit impressed on me as I began to serve as Superintendent was “to equip pastors and churches.” A thousand healthy churches include healthy leaders with healthy marriages! The pressures you and your fellow ministers face are overwhelming and at times may seem insurmountable. These challenges, over time, may have a negative effect on our most cherished relationships. Kendall and Starla Bridges have recently published a new book and workbook (great for small groups) called
Never Settle For Good Enough. This book shares Five Steps to a Better Marriage. I am sure this will be a blessing to you.
Sectional Fellowships Opportunity
I enthusiastically encourage you to have Kendall and Starla speak for one of your monthly sectional minister’s fellowships this year. They would be happy to participate at no charge to your section. They truly desire for our North Texas Ministers to have healthy marriages and would love to share in whatever “window” you would give them.

While some political and religious entities advocate to affirm homosexual practices, same-sex marriage, and alternate sexual identities, the North Texas AG is grateful that the Assemblies of God has been clear and consistent throughout its history on these issues. Since the Bible clearly speaks to the nature of human beings and their sexuality, it is imperative that the Church correctly understands and articulates what it actually teaches on these matters. The only acceptable position for AG churches and ministers on this topic is clearly articulated by the Assemblies of God.
