Disasters devastate lives and leave heartache in their wake. The North Texas Men's Ministry has a Disaster Response & Relief (R&R) team that is trained and ready to support those impacted, empowering local churches to connect with people and show them the tangible love of Christ during a difficult time.
R&R enlists trained chaplains, ministers and laymen to address the spiritual and emotional needs created by the disaster, and provides ongoing training opporutnities to build a vast volunteer base to call on in the event of a crisis

Pastor Darin Stroud served as youth and young adult pastor at a church in Wichita, Kansas for 12 years before being elected to serve as District Youth Director for the Assemblies of God Kansas. The position evolved to District Ministries Director which he served in that role for 17 years. During his tenure, he led summer camps, missions trips, missions fundraising efforts, and services for Speed the Light, Light for the Lost, BGMC, Fire Bible, and more. Darin gave oversight in the calendar, planning, budgets, and leadership for the Men’s, Women’s, Children’s, Seniors, and Boys & Girls Departments. Darin earned an M.Div. at Nelson University (formally Southwestern Assemblies of God University).
