DISASTER RESPONSE: HURRICANE HELENE - This massive storm has caused significant damage across 6 states including Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. This is now officially the worst U.S. disaster since Katrina with over 200 lives lost, and a number still unaccounted for. Catastrophic losses have left many families struggling to survive with many losing everything and having to start completely over. The North Texas District is partnering with Convoy of Hope, Christ in Action, local A/G churches and other ministries to help mobilize resources to provide critical assistance—shelter, food, debris removal, and other clean up—to those in need.
