Pastor Kile Bateman speaks with passion and zeal. He knows how to honor, celebrate,
challenge, and motivate people all at the same time. He is the founder and executive
director of Phased In – a transitional living program for emancipated foster youth. Kile
and his wife, Patti have been the senior pastors of Evangel Church in Wichita Falls, TX, for 20 years. They have two amazing children, Luke and Naphtali; and two
grandchildren, Caiden and Ayzaria, who are the joy of their lives. ...

Phased In is now regarded as one of the leading programs in the nation for students

who have “phased out” of the Foster Care System. The impact that has been made

through Phased In has inspired leaders from not only across the nation but around the

world. Pastor Kile has been a part of the North Texas District Orphan Care Team for the

past 3 years and has recently been appointed as acting Director of Family First.
