“GO BUILD ME AN ALTAR...” 2 Samuel 24:18

Join with churches across the NTD in establishing a corporate altar of prayer within your church

A corporate altar of prayer is where a body of believers comes together to seek, draw, and worship the presence of God so He can tangibly affect and change the atmosphere within the congregation, the community, and the city. It is through corporate altars of prayer that revival and spiritual awakening is birthed, and open heavens (on earth as it is in heaven) begins to open over the local church, city, and region.

Our mandate is that every Assembly of God church would have a dedicated, corporate gathering of prayer at least once per week.

HOW TO BUILD A PRAYER ALTAR

Please join us in building a net of prayer covering the North Texas district. After registering you will receive a free copy of Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Pastor Rick DuBose’s book In Jesus’ Name; The 5 Altars of Prayer That Move Heaven and Earth.

The process is simple:

  1. Fill out the short registration form saying your church would have an intentional, dedicated, corporate gathering of prayer at least once per week.
  2. Designate the day, time, and place of prayer.
  3. Invite your church body to join in prayer.
  4. Register your Altar of Prayer by clicking on this link
  5. You can visit United Cry for Prayer website for more information on how to establish a corporate altar of prayer within your local church.
